College sure has a way of making you feel dead inside
you have survived 100% of your absolute worst days - keep trying; it will get better, it will be okay, and i’m so proud of you

ok this is actually cool bc doing all of this is a technique called “mindful thinking” that is extremely useful for people with anxiety disorders and dissociation disorders and stuff!
Honestly? Shoutout to those of you who are completely fucking lost in life. Those who don’t know what they want to do with life. Those who are stuck in a certain part of life and can’t get out. Those who are reaching for dreams they feel are impossible to reach. Those who feel like they’re accomplishments are being overlooked. Those who feel like their enough just isn’t enough. It is. You can make it. You will make it. There is an opening at the end of the tunnel.

Why does life have to be about such strict competition? Where’s the beauty in that? We’re all constantly striving to look better, be better, make more money than and out run our competition. But how are we supposed to love our neighbour if this is constantly the case? Moreover, how are we supposed to respect ourselves when we feel as though we are never quite good enough? That we must pass everyone else in order to finally ‘make it?’ Where will this lead us? What kind of world is this creating?
forgive yourself. whether you fail a test, eat too many cookies, say the wrong thing, fail a class, or spend a whole day in bed — learn to forgive yourself. the next day will be better. the next day will be a day closer to your next success. you can do it.
